Community Emergency Response Team training will have a final drill to practice in a disaster scenario.
Volunteers role-play as victims and will be made-up to show fake injuries. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or stained.
CERT Class trainees will work through a scenario and their job is to rescue and treat injured survivors.
YOUTH, ages 15-17 must have a parent sign the waiver and photo release, and a parent or guardian must be present during the time of the drill.
For questions you may contact Steve Lazenby, CERT Program Manager at steve.lazenby@ventura.org or 805-794--6094.
Thank you!
Victim volunteers should arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM for make up, to sign the required release forms and to get victim instructions. Dress appropriate for the weather conditions but wear clothes that can be discarded because the makeup may stain them.
