Who We Are
Camarillo Library Volunteers get involved in many aspects of the Library!
Volunteers can spend time in many tasks that benefit learners and readers and people throughout the year and all through the community! Camarillo Library volunteers may be any age, from 14 to adult.
What We Do
- Adult Literacy Tutors help adults learn to read.
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutors help people learn to speak English.
- Event and Program Assistants support library and community events.
- Home work Coaches help students with homework assignments.
- Shelving Assistants help with library tasks, organize and shelve items.
- Summer Reading Club is for young volunteers during summer break.
- Technology assist library guests to learn programs and to set up and use devices.
- Teen Advisory Board (TAB) help with youth programs at the library.
