The Ventura County Continuum of Care Alliance will host the 2024 Point in Time Homeless Count on Wed. January 22nd.
The countywide effort helps to obtain a snapshot census of people experiencing homelessness and allows communities to gain access to state and federal funding.
Volunteers are needed to canvass the community in pairs and collect survey data by interviewing unhoused persons.
A smart phone or device will be needed to access the online survey. People will work in teams, so can share a mobile device.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older and have the ability to walk distances in designated locations. They may select preferred city locations when registering.
